Now that’s the spirit! Soldiers who reside in the state of Minnesota and are returning home from service overseas (past 2 yrs) are eligible for free hunting and fishing licenses from the Minnesota DNR.
“Many Minnesota soldiers have put their hunting and fishing trips on hold while they serve abroad,” said Mark Holsten, DNR commissioner. “The free license is a small way we can recognize their sacrifice, welcome them home, and extend an opportunity to be with friends and family in Minnesota’s great outdoors.”
Kudos!

That is awesome news. I feel every state should do that.
I have to agree with Rick. That’s a great way to help reward those who served, and every state should adopt that idea. I’d like to see it apply to all military personnel new or old.

That’s a great news! Yeah, they do deserved it. And I’m really glad it was officially stated. Cheers to them!
